I am always learning. In 2017 I started the bachelors Arts and Culture Studies at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. During this time I completed an exchange programme in philosophy and literature at National Taiwan University and an internship at Atelier van Lieshout.
In 2020 I started my masters Intercultural Philosophy at Leiden University. There, the world has opened up to me in irreversible ways. I learned about how thinking and knowing is interwined with colonial histories, I learned about Islamic philosophy and the interactions with Greek and Indian philosophies, I learned about Buddhism and the multitude of interpretations, about African oral culture ...
Alongside my masters I have been learning and working in the cultural sector. At Come Alive, an exhibition about eroticism as life force, I learned about eroticism and kapitalism and how they are related. But also about curating an art show and applying for funds. Around that time I started moderating at several art events and learned about public speaking and audiences. Today, I continue to learn in artistic environments: at my radioshow at Operator Radio I learn with artists about topics they work on, working on publishing a poetry book with 50+ poets I learn about editing, printing and using InDesign. Recently I started setting up participatory art projects where I learn about how to keep your integrity in facilitating something for and with people.
